I feel so lucky that I have had the opportunity to stay home for 5 months with Julia. She has become my best little buddy during this time and I just remember that when I start to think about all the things I thought I would have gotten done during my maternity leave. But the days went by, one by one and what I have to cherish about that time is that I was present for the time with Julia and the time with Oli. And that is so very much more important than learning PhotoShop, blogging more, cleaning out closets, filing our paperwork, and the list goes on.
Side note: Julia got her first tooth this weekend!
Oli'ism #101:
(Setting: 6:30am this morning while I was at the gym. Oli came into our bedroom.)
Oli: Daddy, can I come sleep with you?
Dad: Sure, sweetie. But why?
Oli: 'Cause I just threw up all over my bed.

Never get tired of hearing the latest Oli-ism, that does have to be a classic. Hope work goes well, you are right all the other jobs are still there (and will be for many years - take it from one who knows). Without a doubt the precious time you have with little ones is worth the piling up of chores so when you aren't at work it is a great excuse not to still do them.
Love and hugs P.x
