After weeks of knowing that our baby boy was securely in the breech position, we had resolved that he would be coming into this world via a c-section. I did give it a good ol' college try with accupuncture (including this cigar like stick every night heating up my baby toes) and chiropractic. Nothing did the trick...June 1st was the date. While that was 1 week ahead of the due date, our son had his own agenda. On May 31st, first thing in the AM, I went into labor. Since my labor with Julia was so darn quick, there wasn't time to spare....just wish that we had been a bit more prepared for this scenario. Oh well...with nothing more than 10 mins to spare since I was progressing so quickly and c-section is the safe way to have a breech baby, we were wheeled back to the OR where moments later Tyler James Alston joined the world.

| Born at 7:59am, the same exact time I was born. |
| He wanted to back into this world...why? Lazy? Stubborn? On his own terms? We'll just have to see... |
| 7lbs 8 oz...even though Julia was only 6lbs 2oz, Tyler seems SO small. |
| Julia ran as fast as her tutu would let her to come see Baby Brother Tyler in the driveway. |
| Maro and Julia made a memorable poster to welcome us all home! |

| Singing Happy Birthday to Baby Tyler. |

| We're all home now recovering and getting to know each other...he is absolutely precious. |
