The purpose of throwing Julia's daycare friends a halloween party was due to the fact that after Oli's birthday party and then Brett's birthday party, Julia thought it was just about time for her party. We told her about her birthday being in January a few months from now. She seemed to be ok with it. However, a few days later, she started talking about her party. Her friends were coming over...Marcus, Dane, Logan and Ellie. They were coming for her birthday, there would be presents and it was happening 'tomorrow'.
We compromised with a Halloween Party but had to really convince her that there would be no presents. Up until the monring of, she still was saying, 'then we have cake and I blow out the candles and then I open presents'.
