Suncadia Celebration for Camron's 30th

Last weekend, we throroughly enjoyed celebrating Camron's 30th birthday at Suncadia. Wonderful people, great food and a very relaxing location. What more could we ask for?

The Birthday Girl requested a theme of "local, organic and seasonal" for all of the food and drinks. This was encouraged by the book Animal, Vegetable, Miracle.

Camron brought 10 different local apples and various cheese that we taste tested and rated. The group favorite apple was the Pink Lady. Yummy!

I made a carrot cake with local and organic carrots. Notice the seasonal beer that Momyer found.

And one of the highlights was a long walk on Sunday morning to the river. It was chilly but beautiful. I enjoyed the walk as much as the run Camron and I took on Saturday in the fog and saw deer in the fields. Beautiful.
