Just getting together to meet Luke would have been reason enough to drive 6 hours southeast ( and have to listen to my Brett's music all the way) but it was also Brett Miller's 30th birthday!
The Birthday Boy starting his day off in the hot tub before a day of skiing.
Winter sports galore! My Brett snowboarded, the Millers' skied and I tried cross-country skiing (which I thoroughly enjoyed and hope to do more of!). Even though it was so cold, my Brett ordered the biggest icecream, seen above our heads in this photo). In action!
And here is our new friend, Luke. Luke is a precious little guy that is showing signs that he will be as active as his parents. We will be recruiting him for Ragnar 2020..see further below for more Ragnar references.
Araby became quite a Jenga player in her first round with my Brett. This is the tallest tower we have ever seen. I will add that it was a very wobbly table too.
Yay, my favorite cake! Which for the record must have shrunk in the fridge overnight all by itself, we didnt eat any more (well, perhaps just a little..)We bundled up for an afternoon walk that was promptly followed by a long soak in the hot tub.
Just a final note...another purpose of the trip was to recruit Brett Miller for Ragnar 2009. We were successful after only 2 beers (however those 2 had the strength of 6) he relinquished and signed up! Welcome to the team, Brett!
