Snow and Mud

Our weekend was very chill for the "Action Alston's". With nothing on the calendar, we gave Oli a choice to go on a snow hike or to St Edwards Park for hike. His answer, "Both!". Well, ok then!

"Take that, Dad !" (for the 3000th time, but hey - who's counting?)

Next time Brett will remember his jacket for sure - "Brrr - it's so cold, I feel like i'm turning into a snowman." or "note to self, must get to the gym again, need to do something about my stick arms."

Scout's weight loss program is progressing nicely (translation - feed me the good stuff again please!) and he burned a week's worth of calories running in the snow.
Our hike at St Edwards was super muddy but Oli kept reminding us, "don't worry, we can clean our shoes when we get home." (not sure who he thought 'we' is though....) Regardless, he is ALL BOY.

Spiderman came to dinner last night. Luckily, he enjoyed what we were having. Scout - perhaps if you eat your dinner in a spiderman mask too, it might also help with your diet.
