At 7am: finding the easter eggs!
At 10am: Maro and Charlie showed up singing "CottonTail" to spread a little more Easter Joy. (Charlie, you look different, new glasses..?)
At 12pm...a special purchase was made. Even though Oli won't join Brett until next year on the slopes, he took advantage of the second-hand store's end of year sales. Oli is now kitted out for snowboarding lessons next year. He cannot wait!
He looked like a little stud-muffin and already has mastered jumping and turning. We definitely have an athlete on our hands. Now where has all that white stuff gone..?
My first attempt at using fondant to decorate a cake. Not bad for my first try, but...Penny, definitely interested in a bit of a lesson on cake decorating!
The dogs enjoyed their very own birthday cake, bacon bits and all!
We all enjoyed the sunshine today and Avery used it as an excuse to lay in the mud.
Natalie always impresses us...with homemade gift bags and a homemade pinata. Adorable! (and not just Chris looking rather comfortable sporting a broom as he's walking down the street - anything to help the team out!)
3rd time is the charm! And if you look closely you can see the dog bones flying out... (look even closer and it looks like hte flying pac-man is just about to eat Oli)
At 5pm...Off to the movies.

Just another day from the Active Alstons. Let's see what we can cram into tomorrow....

Happy Birthday Scout! I tried to eat some of my parents' ice cream tonight to celebrate your day (because THEY didn't make me a Scout cake) but they didn't think it was as good an idea as I did...oh well. Happy birthday! Love, Teak
