Some Girl Time...

I enjoyed a morning full of girl-talk -ahhh. Us Kirkland Girls drove to Olympia to visit with Katie and Peyton. It was really nice to spend some quality time with Katie and see how her son is growing. Please note that we are all wearing sunglasses....the sun came out and was a welcome treat for us all!

Oli'ism for the weekend:
1. Friday night at dinner, Oli says emphatically, "I have NEVER been to a Metallica concert" (as if he should have by now)
2. Looking at his calendar..."Ok, so I cannot go snowboarding until I am 6 years old...so my birthday, Sept 12th is a Saturday, we will go on Sunday, right?"
3. Tonight at dinner, having artichokes for the first time (which he LOVED). He says very seriously, "is it artichoke carts? or artichoke cartwheels?"
