5 years ago today, I was lucky enough to find Scout and bring him home. He is the BEST dog in the world, but you all already knew that! He is a special family member of ours and has done so well in accepting Julia into his world. When she cries, he showers her with kisses.
Here are two photos of him on April 1st, 2005 at the Humane Society. I fell in love with the big sweet head immediately. 
I have made it a tradition to always visit the Humane Society on Scout's birthday. We took Oli last year and he enjoyed it so we will do our annual visit on the weekend when he is with us. Photos to follow.
