Fun in Copper Mountain

Last weekend we took advantage of the long weekend and went to Denver to visit Karen and were able to sneak away for a couple of nights to Copper Mountain with Carrie, Brett and Luke Miller. Post to come about our time in Denver.... Copper was amazing, so much fun & such a great place. The
altitude certainly is not to be sneezed at (excuse the cold reference), 11,000ft certainly was a little humbling for us sea-level folks.  (however I’m sure those stairs must have been extra steep!)
Oh boy, did we miss Oli this weekend! This was originally planned as a snowboarding weekend for him but turns out he was double-booked...in Brazil for two weeks for a family reunion.

Faster, jeez - comon dad, how to you get this ride to go faster!!??

Luke trying out his first pair of ski's!

We all did a lot of nose wiping this trip....both kids were fighting a bit of a cold and a lot of runny noses.

Doesn't get much  better than this - Paradise at 11,000ft (and where is everyone?)!

Brett Miller - Perfecting his Skiing Guru stance

Who knew snow would taste this good after attempting an impressive 'Hele-360 with authentic in-tree landing'.

Julia & Brett both practicing their 'too cool to smile' looks.
