Julia's Party

The theme was, 'it's my party and I cry if I want to". That lasted the first 15 minutes and then...

...she took a 2 1/2 hour nap, missing her entire party. She hasn't taken that long of a nap in months and with all the noise and the constant look-e-loo's in her nursery...unbelievable! As the seasoned parents told us at the party, 'they will continue to surprise you...'
So, Nathaniel (15 months ) wore her non-traditional birthday hat (the theme being elephants, yes, I know, it looks more like a mouse)

Lillian (13 months) tried chocolate ice cream for the first time. After this initial reaction, she was all smiles.
Skylar (9 months) showing off her penguin dress (I made Julia and Skylar matching dresses...maybe next time they will both wear them for the picture)

Corbin (2 1/2 years) LOVED the balloons.

Oli took one for the team and opened all of Julia's gifts.

With 27 of our 30 guests gone, the birthday girl awoke.
Joshua (11 years), Pep's son took some great photos with his DSI during the party and made a slide show for us.

Enjoying her gifts and what was left of her party. Yes, she most certainly keeps on surprising us....

Just a few photos of the party details that I thoroughly enjoyed creating.

Thanks to Marilyn for creating the graphics for the party! http://thetoymaker.com/
