Walsh's Whidbey Weekend

Playing catch up on the blog...a couple weekends ago we finally got to see Maro and Charlie's new home on Whidbey.  Unfortunately, we missed a lot of the 'before' but the 'after' is a perfect home for them.  We started collecting our memories this weekend and know that we will have so many more.

Maro surprised us by catching up on holidays...all the way back to Brett's birthday, xmas, my birthday and Valentine's Day (hence the xmas tree with heart lights on it - maro, you're too much!)

Their property is perfectly wooded and hearing about Maro's vision for the gardens was delightful.

Scout chased off the deer...Brett and Charlie saw the deer and so did Scout, they shrugged and opened the door.  Didn't know Scout could still run that fast.

A beach walk...
Oli would run and heave the logs for Scout to do his part.

Oli's xmas gift was a tin can robot...a new category of toys - "recyclable".
Good thing the picture doesn't capture the gross drool hanging from Scout's jaw.

One guess as to who is making her giggle!
