Date Night #2

A new Alston family tradition...Date Nights.  Oli and I go out together and Brett and Julia go out.  Our first date night was in Maui ... I took Oli out for Hula Pie.  Yummy!

Tonight, we went to the ProClub's Super Fun Sunday Night.  And it was fun!  Laser tag, giant ball races, badminton, huge slide and more!

Julia and Brett went to KidsQuest Children's Museum, hung out at the Mall together and then came home and worked on a coloring project together.  What more does a girl want?

Everyone enjoyed the special time together (but only one group took their cameras!)

Oli'ism #187

One of the things I love most of my 1:1 time with Oli is the rambling conversations.

Setting: in the car on the way for our date.
Oli: Wendy, what is it like to have a baby?"
(and after that awkard answer)
Oli: I wonder who will be on my laser tag team.
Oli: Can you please turn this song up?
Oli: Wendy, would you rather be a firewoman, policewoman, or nurse?
Oli: I like being a boy but I would LOVE to be a girl.  Only if they could take their shirts off.
