Finally we made good on our promise to Oli tonight to host a 'double' sleep over (meaning 2 friends). He has been so excited for this and when it came time to choose, he slowly shook his head and said, "Wendy, you have asked me a very tough question.".
However, it only lasted 3 hours...until his little friend Davis broke his arm at the playground. And broke it bad! But through the tears, he said "I just wanted to sleep over, it was my very first sleep over".
We hope that Davis will be allowed to come over again (we will stay inside and read books...)
Before the accident, they did have a great time playing baseball. Oli had told his friends how good his dad was at baseball so they all wanted to verse him (a 1st graders was of saying 'play against').
Do you think we should submit this to America's Funniest Home Video's? I think we may have a shot. Keep your eye on Cody, the little blond guy next to Oli...after Brett makes a home run, he takes his revenge.
Not a weekend goes by that we don't play baseball at the park and Scout is the perfect outfielder.
