Mother's Day

Mother's Day Monday was a special day! I picked up Oli early from Daycare and took him to his second karate lesson. I really feel like a "mom" when I take him and I am so proud watching him do his best at a new skill.

My Mother's Day continued...I came home to beautiful flowers - I feel so special to be a step-mum!

Oli drew me this picture - the best gift I could have asked for. Look closely and you will see 3 runners. Oli is crossing the finish line first, I am the red person behind him and Brett is trying to catch up. He was very proud of this picture, so am I.

The evening ended with another reminder of why I love Oli so much. He makes us giggle. This was Bright Night Strategy #2
