Our weekend was perfectly relaxing. Both days we were out on the boat, even took it through the cut and ate dinner at Joey's on Saturday night. On Sunday, anchored in a bay and took a nap.

To balance out the relaxing, we ran the Kirkland 5k on Sunday morning. It is our local road race so not only did we run it but I volunteered at the half-marathon finish line. I brought Scout thinking that we would just be standing on the corner along the route. Little did I know, I was assigned to man the cross-walk, something that Scout was not welcome to participate in. But he did his part, each runner got a healthy dose of howling to get them across the finish line.
