Sunny in Suncadia

Another fun weekend spent in Suncadia. This time it was to celebrate Nick's 33rd birthday. There were 11 adults, 3 babies and 1 seven year old. Saturday was wonderfully warm and Sunday morning was crisp and breezy...perfect for my early morning run. Just me, the BOB and the deer.

I didn't seem to have my camera handy this weekend so only captured a few pictures. So you don't get to see the group shot, the basketball playing, the hanging out, the breakfast/brunch that lasted for hours and best of all, you don't get to see the babies playing together.

Nick and Camron...happy couple! They met at our wedding over 2 years ago. We love that our love was the start of their love.

Oli: Next time I want you to have twins.

Oli'ism #128:

(setting: at a playground in Suncadia, Oli had been playing basketball but got too hot so was sitting on the play structure and a woman started talking to him.)

Woman: So, you're not playing basketball with your dad? (brett was still playing on his own)

Oli: No, I am too tired. I took a run this morning.

Woman: Oh really. How far did you go?

Oli: 5 miles

...Oli did no such thing as take a run, not one mile and certainly not 5. Where does he come up with this stuff!
