Alphabet Dinners

Inspired by Natalie and Chris' alphabet date nights, I started Alphabet Dinners. We started a couple of months ago with "A" and ended tonight with our "Z" dinner. My intent was for it to be a way for us to try new foods and try new recipes. A few letters we met that objective but
as you will see below many times it was a stretch. Oh well, if nothing else, it involved the family in meal planning and was a great conversation topic!

A: Artichokes

B: Broiled Chicken and Baked Beans

C: Chinese Chicken Cabbage Wraps with Coconut Rice

D: Deep Dish Pizza (hey, come on now...you try and find a D food, other than Doritos or Ding Dongs)

E: Eggplant

F: Fish Fajitas

G: Greek Salad

H: Hummus

I: Italian Food

J: Jamaican Jerk Chicken

K: King Salmon

L: Left-overs

M: Mahogany Chicken

N: Sesame Noodles

O: Orange Chicken

P: Peanut Sauce with Tofu

Q: Quinoa

R: Rice

S: Salmon

T: Teriyaki Stirfry

U: Udon Noodles

V: Vermicelli Noodles with Bolognese Sauce

W: Wendy's Restaurant (not the fast food place but 'my' restaurant...I dress up as the chef and waitress and take orders. I show the guys to the candle-lit table. I serve cocktails and mocktails. Oli loves it!)

X: X-tra cheesy pizza (yeah, I stretch, I know)

Y: Yellow Curry

Z: Z Tejas, the restaurant. (it was a treat to end with a night out...no cooking!).
