Winter Fun in Suncadia

We just had 5 fabulous days of winter fun in Suncadia! This is beginning to be our tradition and I couldn't hope for anything more.

This year my parents joined in for the fun and to spoil the grandkids with their love and attention. Last but not least, Valerie was with us for the first couple of days...guaranteeing us to get in our workouts and have yummy healthy meals!

We snuggled...

We explored new places...

We worked out...
(Oli has been talking for weeks abour working out with Auntie Val. He said it was the highlight of the trip. He is going to be a jock, that is for sure.)
We tubed down Suncadia's awesome tubing hill...

We ice skated....

We made each other laugh....
We felt royal...

We climbed up Tipple Hill and slid down on our bums (many, many times)...

We snow-shoed...

We posed...

And posed some more...

And some more...

We opened 'early' Christmas gifts...

And more gifts...
We napped whenever (and wherever) possible...(yes, Julia is that little bundle)

We cross-country skied, ran and we howled (I love the action in this photo!)

We trained for the 2018 Winter Olympic Bobsled event.....

We also stuck to the old man cross country skiing trails this time...

We also snowboarded (lots!), ate (lots!), played lots of games, played in general and had an all round great time!
