Fred, our elf is back for another year. On Dec 1st, when Fred was expected, Oli almost beat Julia out of bed at 6:30am. He hides in a different spot every morning after going back to tell Santa if the kids were good or bad that day.
Along with the Cadbury advent calendar from Grandma, we have advent bags I made for Oli. A little treat in each one...
Oli and Brett are making Julia a gift. Building blocks!
We cut down our tree last weekend. Our official measurement was that if Oli was on Dad's back and could touch the top it was not going to be too tall. Looks like this one is coming home with us!
Oli digging through the Christmas decorations (very proudly wearing his 5k race shirt too). He got almost as excited as me. Remembering where each decoration belongs.
At least this year, the tree won't escape... (Scout's not quite into Christmas as much as i am so far, as you can see by his best Eyore imprssion below).
And finally, proof on video that Oli is totally gaming this entire Christmas /Santa thing. Who would have thought that his only motive for offering up the biggest decoration would be to get more gifts?
