A snorkle/scuba dive trip was next up on the agenda. An early morning start made it possible for us to get to the Molokini crater for the first dive/snorkle spot. The highlight there was hearing the whales when you put your head in the water and just the hope that you might look up and see one. Unfortunately we didn't.
The second dive/snorkle spot was Turtle Town which was a spot not far off the coast but absolutely THE hangout for the sea turtles. HUGE, lovely turtles that come up every 20-30 minutes for a breath of air. We saw plenty of them come up for air and it was spectacular! May have been the highlight of the whole trip for me.
