Pumpkin Carving Party

Tonight was a very exciting Wednesday night for us 30-somethings. It was a BYOP party at our house and we welcomed Natalie, Chris and Ashlie (Nate, we missed you!).

Everyone's pumpkins turned out very good!

Now, how did we do it? Well, the guys had some help from power tools while the girls struggled with plastic carving tools and regular ol' knives.

Natalie, had a little goodie bag for Oli and the biggest hit was a pumpkin straw that of course, makes noise. Oli loved it!

Along with the pumpkins, we enjoyed some sweet treats. The Gossett's caramel apples were a hit.

I have a goal to make and decorate sugar cookies as good as Karen. Call it sibling rivalry, if you will. Here was my first try...I will send photos of the Thanksgiving ones.
