The long awaited '3 Generations of Alston Men - Boating / Camping Adventure' was a success! The weather was perfect, with a little fog path on the way out & really hot on the way back

The highlights reported back to the homestead were:
- Building and playing with a bow-and-arrow
- Rock skimming & lots of barefoot soccer
- Sleeping in a tent
- Wildlife, oh so much wildlife. Here are a few of the highlights;
- Brazen raccoons who actually waited until after dark & then unzipped the backpacks for some chewing gum - must have had some bad breath!
- Seeings dolphins, starfish, crabs, fish, shrimps, eagles, herons, deer, chipmunks and lots of fish
- Successfully making it through the locks without incident (again) - which makes any captain anxious!
