WaterSki Trial #1

What a beautiful day! With Pop here, it gave us the minimum number of people necessary to try to get Oli up on a pair of waterski's: a driver, someone to hold the rope in the boat and someone to hold the kid in the water. During the team debrief afterwards :), we determined we needed one more person to man the flag.

Notice how the ski's are bolted together at the top. Just one of the latest in kid's ski's. Also the rope has two handles and is attached to the ski's, so that someone on the boat can hold on and let go as soon as the kid falls. I wish this was the case when I was learning, I remember being told "hold on" so many times. What I didn't hear was to let go when I fell in. Holding on for dear life being dragged behind the boat was a memorable experience.

Oli tried to get up twice before he was shivering so bad he had to get out. On his second try he got up for a split second. Next time, we expect a rousing success.

Brett putting some real muscle behind the super soaker...Oli giggling the entire time.

A bit discolored but a nice moment to capture none-the-less.
