We gave him a day off today but the detailed itinerary starts tomorrow. I know he has the energy to keep up with us because on his day off he pruned one of our trees. Earning his stay already!
Here is just a snapshot of page 1 of his itinerary. We will do our best to keep up on the blog - check back often!
Pop and Oli exploring a tree cave. Believe it or not, we have walked past this half a dozen times and never seen it. As Oli said, "Pop, you are a genius, the best genius in the world!"
"Pop, are you really a wizard? Really?"

Tooth #2 was aggressively pulled out. Motivation = $1 from the tooth fairy and the chance to use the glow-in-the-dark tooth box from Maro that has a tiny compartment for tooth. That reminds me, must go find a dollar bill...

Oli'ism #42: On the hike down to the lake at St Edwards Park today, Oli took a tumble. It was a big one that created some tears. Something that doesn't happen very often anymore - tough kid. Once he wiped away the tears, he said through the sniffles, "I still think I will be able open the gifts from Pop".

Oli'ism #43:
Us: Pop will be able to see you at your swim lesson tomorrow. Did you know that Pop is a really good swimmer?
Oli: I know! Because he is bald!"

Looks like you guys are having a great time. I know exactly where that tree cave is at St. Edwards. We've had fun checking it out as well.
Enjoy the weekend!
