Sailing off into the Sunset

One of the things on Brett's Life List is to 'sail off into the sunset'. This weekend he took a step in the direction of realizing that dream. He took a 2-day sailing course. It is the first of 3 certifications he would like to have. And he passed with flying colors!

No shorts today. Needless to say, in Brett's dream it is about 85 degrees, sunny skies and light blue water...

Saturday's sunny day was the perfect excuse for me to grab Scout's leash and Julia's Bjorn and head to the waterfront to spot Brett on his training boat. Not sure we ever saw the right boat but was fun to think of him out there learning something new.
