A New Minimum Dress Code

We had a really fun weekend, full of catching up with friends.

Friday night, we both went our own ways (Huh - was that the fun bit i hear you ask..?). I went east to Suncadia with Camron and Brett went north to Mt Baker with Brett Stewart.

Camron and I enjoyed a long workout, healthy dinner, loads of girl talk and movie...until the power went out. At that point we missed our men more than ever. But we survived the wind storm and the power outage. Barely :).

The Brett's enjoyed their day at Mt Baker on the slopes particularly since they were about the only people on the mountain. They earned this day. Brett and Brett put a full day in last weekend on Brett Stewart's house to get ready for their second baby. This allowed Brett Stewart to take a day away from his house project for their 8th annual ski trip.

By Saturday night, Suncadia was the place to be! Maro, Charlie, Pat, Bob, and Brett all made it there in time to join Camron & I for dinner and some grueling rounds of Jenga.

Pat, the "rule follower" was giving an awful lot of concentration for the very first block. You can do it, Pat! Bob - stop kicking the table!

Bob looks very worried, Charlie.
Now that is one victorious gesture.

Superbowl Sunday was spent doing everything but watching football. We spent the day in Suncadia relaxing and taking a nice long walk.

"Ahhh, definitely worth the drive". The Girls leading the way

The Boys giggling behind us.

We got home just in time to welcome our friends Ed and Vicky over for dinner. We enjoyed many laughs with them...they are a delight to be around.

Since we didn't subject them to a photo shoot during dinner, I decided to post one of my favorite pictures from our wedding (although i was half tempted to tell you this is the new minimum dress code for dinner we have introduced at our house - would you have beleived me??)
