Things that made us smile:
- Oli's beaming face when we walked in to the cafeteria
- Oli proudly introducing Julia to his friends
- Seeing how popular Oli is with his classmates
- Taking note of some kids' lunch trays...one was filled completely with shredded cheese, nothing else (most of it ended up on Brett's pants).
- Oli's classmates gushing over Julia
- Oli's manners were above and beyond anyone else at the table
- The bootcamp nature of the lunch ladies to get 150 kids in and out of the cafeteria in 30 minutes (this included the last 10 minutes being 'silent'). Wow, they were serious & thought we were going to get sent to the naughty table at one point!
Oli was "line leader" ... note how tall he is compared to his classmates. He looks like a 3rd grader! Tomorrow he's not allowed to go to school wearing my high heels anymore!
Oli'ism #79
We noticed that Oli is mature compared to his classmates which reminded me to share some of his latest 'adult' like comments.
I asked Oli if he liked the lunch I made him. “Yes, it was good. Infact, it was perfectly fine.”

In working on our summer calendar, he put a sticker on the wrong month and said, “I am so sorry I have complicated things so much”
He didn’t have his soccer socks so I asked him, “How should we solve this problem?” and his response, “Now that is a very good question.” (he ended up playing the last game of his season proudly wearing somewhat fluffy snowboarding socks)
