On Monday, Brett kissed us goodbye at the family friendly security lane at Seatac. I took a deep breath and Julia and I were on our own for her very first flight.

Wendy's Comments: Julia was the BEST! She fell asleep during take-off (which I was prepared for her to wail due to her ears popping but she peacefully fell asleep) and didn't wake up until I was carrying her off the plane. I had cautiously and optimistically tossed a book in my carry-on at the last minute -- so glad I did! I graciously accepted all the compliments that the passengers around me offered about the good baby we have.

Julia's Comments: What flight?
Brett joined us on Tues night and we have been having a wonderful time away. Details on the trip to come in the next posting. But as we speak, Brett and I are in Indian Wells/Palm Desert deciding what spa treatment we want after a day at the pool in the 90 degree weather. Ahhh.
Julia is thoroughly enjoying her time with Nana and Grandpa - they are making her smile lots!Here is just one picture I had handy. More photos to come!
