Congrats Brett!

As I may have told you once or a few times by now, Brett was named one of the Puget Sound's 40 professionals under 40 years of age for 2009. It is quite the honor! He had to be nominated (along with 427 others this year), then interviewed, then selected against his peers (in a process that apparently took the 6 judges 40 hours). And he did it!



Last night was the gala to celebrate this achievement with the other honorees. It was a very special evening, one that we will not ever forget.

They had just announced his name and there was a lot of applause (from me but also from several other people he knew there!)


He tells me that his heart was racing...more than when he had to speak in front of 5000 people at MSFT. Standing there seems easier to me...
