The Greatest Show on Earth

On Monday, we took Oli and my parents to the Circus. The good ol' fashioned Barnum and Bailey's circus. Brett and I had fairly low expectations for this outing but it was fantastic! We didn't bring a camera assuming they didn't allow it but turns out that they do. Next time....

Oli'ism #75: The introduction of the circus included some announcements about how this is the GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH. About half-way through the show, Oli turned to Brett and said, "Dad, this IS the greatest show on earth!"

Oli'ism #76: Oli very much enjoyed the women getting shot out of the cannon. And the announcer said, "don't try this at home" and Oli said to us, "but we don't have a cannon at home." Good point.

Oli'ism #77: While playing a simple version of Hangman in the backseat on the way to the circus with SueP (Oli's nickname for my mom). It was Oli's turn and he drew a lot of dashes and then turned to us and said, "How do you spell Pineapple?"
