We celebrated two birthdays this weekend...Ron's (we won't mention the year) and Oli's 6th - his birthday celebration began yesterday and will continue for the next week.

Oli remembered the dirt cake I made a year ago for his party and thought it would be funny to trick Ron & Sue into eating dirt.

Here is Oli having a GREAT time with Ron not enjoying (or enjoying?) his dirt cake. The first thing he told them at the airport is that we would be having dirt for dessert. I love that he loves these simple pleasures at this age.

Oli chose to have a soccer theme to his birthday party this year. We are so touched to have friends and family to join us for this party and partake as if they were 6 year old's. Thanks, Gossett's, Bishops, Walsh's, Elliotts and of course my parents for your involvement in Oli's life.
Oli opening his magic gift from Nate and Ashlie. We have been watching the How To DVD and have mastered a couple of the magic tricks. It is precious to see that as soon as Oli performs for us, he wants to tell us the secrets because he doesn't want to trick his friends.

Playing Pin the Player on the Field. Oli made the little players that we all stuck onto the field as close to the ball as possible. Brett practiced all morning and therefore won the inflatable light saber.

Oli having a lot of fun spinning me and the baby.

Yummy....loving the soccer cake!

And just one cool kid getting ready to hit the slopes. He tried on all of his snowboarding stuff getting ready for the snow.
